Many people leave their homeland to start a new life elsewhere. In most countries, however, there is no place for them, and they end up living in ghettos.
In the suburbs populated by such immigrants, hatred flourishes.
Fueled by hopelessness, misunderstanding, and isolation, it creeps into every home and into people’s souls.
Sixteen-year-old Abdul ends up in the hospital after a clash with the police. His friend, Vincent, found the gun that one of the officers had lost during the riots. He decides that if his friend dies, he will kill a police officer in exchange for his friend’s life.
