Gálhidy Gizella & Ferenczy-Nagy Boglárka: Liturgia
2026-09-14T17:00:00.000Z
Gizella Gálhidy and Boglárka Ferenczy-Nagy are recent graduates who work as physical theater choreographers, directors, and actresses—and, above all, as young women. They transform the recurring dilemmas of being a female artist at the beginning of her career into a performance: Who has authority over me—over my body and my creativity? When should I remain silent, and when should I speak up? Should I remain silent at all?

What does it even mean to be a woman today—not just in this profession, but in this country, in this society? They explore all of this through the movements of the Mass, seeking an answer to how the body can be both infinitely sacred and profane at the same time.
“We are women. We are willful. We are determined. We are sensitive; we are weak. We are hysterical. We are beautiful. We are whores. We are hungry for love. We are gentle. We are strong. We are brave and bloody. And together with five other women, we were given the opportunity to articulate this experience—thereby creating our own Liturgy.” (Gizella Gálhidy and Boglárka Ferenczy-Nagy)
