Dear Friends and Interested Parties!
Permanens Vacation is three years old. The Permanens project began with a spontaneous decision to set up a tiny bar in one of the vacant, 20-square-meter storefronts on the sleepy, deserted Margit Boulevard. Our original motivation for opening the bar was simply to entertain ourselves, and a long series of coincidences has led us to where we are now: working on the revitalization of the Fészek Artists’ Club building—a project that has expanded a hundredfold beyond the scope of what we originally set out to do.

Permanens is a personal project that draws heavily on encounters that have taken place at venues in our city—places that have emerged, flourished, and sometimes faded away over the past decade and a half, each with its own distinct philosophy. Permanens draws on personal experiences, from which it (sometimes) creates a collective experience.
The PERMANENS COLLECTION is a constantly expanding collection designed to transform these personal experiences from abstract concepts into tangible objects, thereby making them perceptible to others as well.
The PERMANENS COLLECTION is now on display and will be open to the public at the Fészek Artists’ Club throughout the summer.
