Macskapogó was formed in late 2024 in a dorm room in Budapest when two bassists decided to try writing music just for fun, independently of anyone else. It was during this burst of inspiration that the foundations of Macskapogó were laid, and after the band found its other members, they put together a 45-minute set and enough songs for an album.

They’re currently recording the songs and preparing for their first concerts to find their own audience.
