Berta Csongor, stage name bongor, has been an unavoidable figure of the Hungarian rap scene for many years, and as she made public in her highly successful concept album last year, she is an alcoholic. He tries to overcome his addiction, so he goes to therapy, and during au sessions he realizes that for as long as he can remember, he has been followed by a Shadow that feeds on his alcoholism and trauma and has already taken so much control over his life that he is starting to take on his own form. And the Shadow is ready to destroy him if he doesn't do something about it. The rapper's only weapon against the Shadow is music, so as part of his struggle, he tells honestly in his songs about the road to alcoholism, the exuberance of addiction and the misery of recovery. Ecstasy Uncut presents the struggle and journey through the songs that, although now brought to life by the musician, can be familiar and identifiable to many.
The film shows Csongor's childhood in Szatka, his acquaintance with the stage, his relationship with his family and especially his father, and after ending the temptations associated with a career as a rapper, he shows why it is good to drink and, of course, also shows his struggles with his wife, up to the decision to give up alcohol for good. He also tries to answer how possible this is in the case of someone who has been addicted to alcohol for many years, the main character himself.

In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
