Schedule
Active since the ’10s, singer-songwriter Gergő Szakács has transitioned over the years from monumental pop sounds to more intimate, live instrumental productions, and this journey will reach its next important milestone at Müpa Budapest. At this concert, entitled Tisztul (“Purify”), the artist will perform his new songs free of digital layers, in a raw and direct form, with a focus on fundamental questions of human existence: birth, death, fatherhood and freedom from addictions. This streamlined yet powerful musical world will bring performer and listener into a rare state of close proximity.
