YOUTH
(Youth - in English with Hungarian subtitles)

directed by Paolo Sorrentino

***Not recommended for children under the age of twelve.***
Paolo Sorrentino once again deals with the big questions of life affecting everyone in beautiful landscapes. Rich in enchanting images, the cinema is the director giant's largest-scale work to date, shot in English, in which stars such as Michael Caine, Harvey Keitel, Rachel Weisz, Paul Dano and Jane Fonda excel.
Sorrentino appears again with a fascinating film reminiscent of Fellini after The Great Beauty, which guides him to Rome and won the Oscar. This time, a luxury hotel in the Swiss Alps provides the set, where the retired, world-famous composer and conductor Fred (two-time Oscar winner Sir Michael Caine) and his best friend, the film director Mick (Harvey Keitel) rest. Fred looks with curiosity at the other guests of the hotel, the problems of his daughter (Oscar winner Rachel Weisz), and the young and ambitious writers with whom Mick works on a screenplay. He considers his own musical career closed, but at the highest level I want him to conduct once more: from himself II. He receives an invitation from Queen Elizabeth of Great Britain to perform on Prince Philip's birthday. He immediately rejects the invitation, but the royal family proves to be steadfast.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
