Authentic summer evening tunes with Kiscsillag on 22 August on the Bánya Kert stage!

The band Kiscsillag, which defined itself as a hobby garage band when it was formed in 2005, is now regarded as one of Hungary’s leading alternative rock bands. Celebrating its 20th anniversary this year, the band’s songs – always guitar-driven yet incorporating numerous diverse stylistic elements – combined with their energetic performances, Lovasi’s iconic lyrics and the polyphonic vocal themes that have emerged in the band’s later years have made Kiscsillag one of the most distinctive, unique-sounding, boldly experimental acts, constantly reinventing itself year after year.

In the current line-up, alongside the two founders, Gábor Leskovics (PUF) and András Lovasi (Kispál és a Borz), the band features Dávid Szesztay, who has now risen to the rank of singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, as well as Imre Hajba on bass and Ferenc Bajkai on drums.
