MÚZÉJ | The Trio Passacaglia Concert – Ordo constitutus / Created Order – In conjunction with the Lajos Dargay exhibition

This trio, known for its unique sound and its playful exploration of the acoustics of the individual parts, is preparing a special program for its concert at the Műcsarnok as part of the Night of Museums. The two vocal parts and the cello complement each other perfectly, creating a unique musical atmosphere.

The pieces to be performed that evening were selected by the performers in collaboration with composer Marcell Dargay, drawing on the work of sculptor Lajos Dargay. Marcell Dargay regularly collaborates with the trio; he has composed several solo and chamber music works for the ensemble’s members. Several of these will be performed during the evening, creating an exciting contrast with works by composers of the early Middle Ages and the early Baroque, as well as compositions for solo cello by György Kurtág and György Ligeti.
