GULU GULU x zuzmo x rtificial:red (HR)
Both GULU GULU and zuzmo welcomed the spring with an LP, and now they’re joining forces to bid farewell to autumn. Joining them from Zagreb will be rtificial, who will warm up the stage with their loud grungegaze.
Schedule
GULU GULU
Wide open spaces, sprawling layers of loud guitar, plenty of pedals, and melancholic lyrics in both Hungarian and English. They’ll be bringing their album i get anxious when the sun hits my eyes, released this spring, along with the new songs they’ve put together since then, to Akvárium.
zuzmo
A symbiosis of five people, capable of surviving even the harshest conditions. Through their songs, they explore survival, struggles with mental illness, and the challenges and identity formation that come with young adulthood, hoping to make members of their community feel that they are not alone. They’ll be bringing along their full-length album dolgok amik eszembe jutnak, released in March.
rtificial:red
A Zagreb-based grunge/shoegaze trio born from the musical worlds of Deftones, The Smashing Pumpkins, Hum, and Nothing.
Akvárium
As they describe themselves, it is Budapest's most frequented venue, which is also multifunctional. Akvárium is great for award ceremonies, afternoon coffees and, most importantly, concerts, thanks to the well-picked, cross-genre selection.
