Schedule
The Black Winter Celebration is not just a Depeche Mode tribute concert, but a unique audiovisual experience: this time, on the A38 stage, a large-scale LED wall projection will take Depeche Mode’s iconic atmosphere to a whole new level.
Throughout the evening, the band will perform not only their most iconic anthems but also rarely heard songs.
What makes The Devotees’ concerts special is their authentic sound, their richly detailed recreation of Depeche Mode’s musical world, and a distinctive baritone vocal style that, according to fans, evokes the sound of Dave Gahan.
The evening’s special guest is Pécs-based Pixelplants, Hungary’s only hardpop band, who will kick off this winter music celebration with their own unique sound.
If you were part of the sold-out summer concert, you know what a special atmosphere is created when Depeche Mode’s songs ring out together at the A38. And if this is your first time joining us, a spectacular, emotionally charged concert experience awaits you on February 12.
Black Winter Celebration—a winter evening where music, memories, and shared experiences come together.
Location
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
