PlayStation Drum&Bass night

We’re bringing back an era when a game’s music, menu, or visual world stayed with you just as much as the game itself.

The focus is on drum & bass, liquid, and jungle, with four DJs, including a live vinyl set and selections that connect, either directly or through atmosphere, to the games, soundtracks, and electronic music of the early 2000s.

For the night, Toldi’s visual space will also be transformed: live visuals inspired by PS2 game worlds, interactive elements, and installations will take over the venue. Period-correct menus, low-poly 3D, loading screens, characters, and familiar digital motifs will blend with live VJ sets.

We’re not trying to create a greatest-hits nostalgia night. Instead, we want to carry forward the feeling of that era — when starting a new game, discovering a strange soundtrack, or playing PS2 late into the night could still feel like entering a world entirely of its own.
