By 20011, EASTERN BLoKk had become a legendary venue in Dunatest’s nightlife scene. Over its decade-long existence, the club changed locations several times: opening in 20001 on the Hajasi Embankment before eventually settling in the former Sakál Metro building. Alongside its popular parties, it hosted world music festivals, equality-focused cultural events, and contemporary theatre productions alike. But what was really happening on North Square that night?
The venue opened late. The reasons: the organizers’ lack of preparation and their fear of the overwhelming turnout.
Alpha male Richárd Sárváci — son of Foreign Minister Sárváci — heads out for a Saturday-night attempt to save his relationship with his girlfriend, cat-babe Lujza Hojdu. Joining them are his beta sidekick Krisztián Rózsaközi and his dealer Árpi Kaszás. While waiting in line, they run into countless familiar faces; it feels as if all of Dunatest has come out to party tonight.
What they do not know is that this will become the party of the millennium.
Searching for a way out of filth and decay, these teenagers dive ever deeper into an unstable reality disguised by false glamour. Sirens. Ambulances. The Dunatest Police Headquarters. Dromedary Street. Newtest.
