The biggest critic and audience favorite romance film of 2023 is a heartbreaking story about life-changing choices, missed opportunities and true love.
Nora and Hae-sung were best friends as children, but the little girl's move separated them. Twenty years later, they find each other again online, but as adults they are already in a completely different place in their lives. The girl is a successful writer in New York, she lives in a serious relationship, but the boy is just drifting in Seoul. They begin to bond with each other again via the Internet, and a true and deep adult friendship develops between childhood comrades. However, Hae-sung's visit to New York sets off an unexpected emotional avalanche in both of them, forcing them to finally face their true feelings.
According to Rolling Stone, Previous Lives produced by A24 and presented in the competition program of the Sundance Film Festival and the Berlinale „the best film you can see this year”.
