The thrilling plot—in which young lovers struggle to escape from the seraglio—is in itself one of the keys to the success of stage works.

Schedule
However, the music of Mozart, composed in his twenties, with its variety, freshness, and hints of Eastern flair, makes the singspiel *The Abduction from the Seraglio* utterly irresistible, this time staged through the directorial vision of the young actor Miklós H. Vecsei, who possesses a unique worldview. The freshness of the production and the staging, which occasionally pokes fun at operatic traditions, are further guaranteed by the projection team of Kiégő Izzók and Dániel Varró’s new translation.
