Salon de Mouvement
There are stories that cannot be told through words alone. There are feelings that find their full expression in a melody, a glance, or a single movement. Salon de Mouvement – The Salon of Movement emerges from this shared language: a space where music, prose, and movement do not simply follow one another, but unfold from within each other.

Schedule
This evening is an intimate artistic encounter, where closeness is not merely physical, but an emotional and spiritual experience. The audience is not an outside observer, but a participant in the subtle dialogue that unfolds between performer and audience through the smallest nuances. Movement does not illustrate music or text here – it exists as an independent thought. Sound is not accompaniment, but an invitation. Prose is not an explanation, but a gateway to an inner world.
Salon de Mouvement is a live artistic salon where singing, piano, prose and dance engage in an ongoing dialogue with one another. No two moments are ever alike, as every sound, every movement and every silence comes into being in the present. The freedom of improvisation and artistic discipline coexist, making each performance unique and unrepeatable.
Within this extraordinary space, familiar boundaries begin to dissolve. Sound and body, form and emotion, performer and audience draw closer to one another, until everyone present becomes part of a single shared breath. Here, art does not create distance, but connection. It offers no ready-made answers, but evokes questions, memories and moments of recognition.
Salon de Mouvement is more than just another evening. It is an experience in which music remembers, sound reaches out, and movement responds – often without words.
This is not a performance.
This is an encounter.

On 15 February 2019, Budapest's unique new cultural arena opened its doors: the new National Dance Theatre in Millenáris Park. The building, equipped with the latest theatre technology and featuring unique architectural solutions, offers two theatre halls and a chamber hall for dance lovers, as well as rehearsal rooms for professional dancers. The foyer of the building will also become a community space open to visitors to the park, giving Millenáris the opportunity to become even more part of the capital's bloodstream.
