***Not recommended for children under the age of sixteen!***
A summer in northern Italy. For Elio (Timothée Chalamet), the 17-year-old American guy, paradise itself. Together with his parents, he spends his vacation in the same ancient villa and garden every year and is surrounded by the same old friends. Do they party, go to the beach, listen to music, talk, and of course fall in love?
Elio's father is an art historian who takes in a student for a few weeks every year. This time, Oliver (Armie Hammer), who is working on his doctoral dissertation, arrives and disturbs the happy harmony. It doesn't fit here. Too loose, too beautiful, you don't know what you want.
This summer is different from the previous ones. Happy and strange, full of love and sorrow. And by the time it's over, nothing can be the same as it was before.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
