Schedule
ELSA VALLE, the Cuban singer living in Hungary who bursts with energy and is a huge favorite with the audience, always performs with a backing band that suits her perfectly. Last year, the fiery singer performed to overwhelming success for the second time at London’s legendary 606 Club, and at the AVL-Érd Jazz Festival, the audience not only went wild but also danced to her music. Elsa’s band embraces the Dembow style, which originated in the Dominican Republic and is still interwoven with the rhythms and harmonies of jazz and Afro-Cuban music. The band’s lineup consists of one of Hungary’s finest jazz guitarists, GÁBOR SZALAY; the virtuoso veteran double bassist/bassist, VIKTOR HÁRS; and ZSOLT MADAI, who accompanies on the cajón and drums—together they form a fantastic team.
