When we talk about blues in Hungary, the name Jenő Fekete is unavoidable. The eMeRTon award-winning guitarist and singer has been one of the most influential figures in Hungarian blues for more than three decades. His passionate guitar playing, characteristic voice and authentic performance style evoke the world of Delta and Chicago blues, while speaking in his own, individual voice.
His partner this evening is Misi Horváth, the outstanding harmonica player of the Hungarian blues scene. His playing is characterized by deep emotions, instinctive musicality and exceptional expressiveness. For him, the harmonica is not an accompanying instrument, but a means of storytelling.
