Pink Floyd: The Wall
PINK FLOYD: THE WALL
(in English, no subtitles)
Color musical film (UK), 95 min, 1982
Director: Alan Parker
Cast: Bob Geldof, Christine Hargreaves, James Laurenson
***Not recommended for viewers under 16.***
Pink is a seemingly popular and successful rock star, yet in reality, he is disillusioned with everything and everyone. Alone in his hotel room, he desperately tries to understand how he went from roaring success to personal failure. How did he reach such heights, and what has show business turned him into? Is there anything left of his former self?
Memories—interwoven with nightmarish visions—surround him like a wall. There are memories of his childhood, his coming-of-age, and his rebellious years; memories of how, in the daily grind, he lost his dreams and imagination, his self-esteem, and his freedom. Yet perhaps all is not lost; the wall can be torn down.

Bem Cinema
In January 2016, the 108-year-old Bem Cinema will reopen its doors to the public, in a new way never seen before in Hungary: as a cinema of cult and classic films (no harm!), or as the educated French say (if you know your English): as a "repertory cinema".
