For many years, Random Trip was one of the A38 Ship’s signature improv nights, and in 2026, its fresh new lineup—featuring up-and-coming talents—the Vibe Changers, will return to the A38 stage every other Tuesday.
Now entering its fifth season, this musical collaboration continues to focus on free improvisation: established performers, MCs, and young soloists come together on stage to create unique, one-of-a-kind performances live and in real time.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
