A Night Like No Other: Zanzibar at the A38 Ship – November 28

On November 28, the band Zanzibar is preparing for a truly special concert at the A38 Ship. This time, the band isn’t performing their usual setlist: they’ve put together a one-night-only show unlike anything they’ve done since their inception.

The concert will feature a selection from Zanzibar’s entire musical repertoire to date, allowing the audience to hear songs from various eras of the band’s history. What’s more, they’ll be playing songs that aren’t usually performed at their concerts—meaning the evening may hold surprises even for longtime fans.

The evening will kick off with a performance by PAGURIHO, followed by Zanzibar’s longest and one of its most special concerts to date: expect a live show lasting nearly two hours.

And if all that weren’t enough, the program will also feature acoustic interludes throughout the evening. Songs will be performed acoustically and in a lineup that you would otherwise never hear from the band at a concert. These special moments will further enhance the evening’s unique atmosphere.

This isn’t just another Zanzibar concert. It’s a special selection of songs from their catalog, including rarities, more than two hours of live music, acoustic surprises, and a concert lineup unlike anything seen before.

November 28, A38 Ship.

If you’d like to experience Zanzibar’s past, present, and a side of the band they haven’t really shown in concert yet—all at once—this is an evening worth marking on your calendar.

One evening. More than two hours. Tons of songs. And a concert like no other.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
