In 2026, the free Dance House in the Open Air series will continue on the Open-Air Stage of the House of Music Hungary from May to September; at this year’s closing event, Klári Csernók and Friends will be making music.
Csernók’s own band was formed in 2015 at the request of Éva Korpás, a Fonogram Award-winning Hungarian singer from Upper Hungary. They have become the regular accompanists for the singer’s folk music programs for children and adults. In addition, the band has provided permanent musical accompaniment for several folk dance ensembles and has become a regular guest at dance houses and folk pubs. With this event on the Open-Air Stage of the House of Music Hungary, this year’s dance-house series sets out specifically to attract the attention of those interested who are not yet among the seasoned dance-house regulars.
