BURNED PAGES: SMALL PLATE PAINTING WORKSHOP AT MAKERS’ MARKET!

On June 21, join the Parbiart team for a creative workshop at Makers’ Market in Fény Street Market.

In a quiet, dedicated corner of the market, you'll have the chance to paint tarot-inspired motifs onto a small ceramic plate. If you’d like, you can also take part in a mini tarot session while you paint.

No experience with ceramics or tarot is required — just bring your curiosity and creativity!

TAXITURI at Makers’ Market

We’re happy to welcome TAXITURI back to Makers’ Market!

TAXITURI is the social enterprise of Adománytaxi. For the past 10 years, the foundation has been working to connect surplus goods in Budapest with the needs of people living in disadvantaged small communities. In the capital, they collect unused but valuable items directly from people’s homes and deliver them to places where they are needed most.

Since 2015, Adománytaxi has delivered donations from 5,000 households to people in need across 100 settlements, with the help of around 700 volunteers.

One of the flagship projects of the foundation’s sustainability mission is TAXITURI, a community clothing fair launched in 2017. At TAXITURI, visitors can buy the most special clothing pieces donated to Adománytaxi. The TAXITURI selection makes up around 1–2% of all clothing donations received by the foundation, and proceeds from the sales support the foundation’s work.

All day long, we’ll have great music from the records of DJ Donnie Jep and Kisjankó — and of course, dogs are warmly welcome too. Four-legged friends are right at home with us

This is more than just a market: it’s a chance to meet the makers, get inspired, slow down, browse, chat, and discover something new.

Location

Fény Street Market

A popular meeting place in the heart of Buda, the Fény Utcai Piac (Feny Street Market), located next to Széll Kálmán Square, has become one of the most popular shopping and meeting places for Buda's residents. As the Market's slogan says: "Where all shopping is a festival"

There is a large selection of organic and certified organic products. The market is a place for artisan specialities, but also for products that are widely known, where both national and international cuisines, coffee culture and modern bistro gastronomy are represented.

The smell of fresh bread from the bakeries accompanies every shopper, from the counter of real hungarian meats to fashionable boutiques or service shops.
