Szőnyi Camp - Zebegény

A small village in the Danube bend. Many artists moved here at the beginning of the 20th century, among them István Szőnyi (1894-1960). His former house is now a museum, and the Szőnyi István Szőnyi School of Fine Arts has been open since 1968 in his garden, which has given birth to generations of Hungarian and foreign artists over the decades.

Every summer, the Szőnyi Camp opens its doors. For decades, there have been painting, graphic design and sculpture classes, but in recent years we have added many new courses and programmes, including animation design and photography.
