Waldorfest camp
At the end of last summer, we took an important and decisive decision. Despite many years of trying, we were still facing significant economic difficulties, so we closed the festival organisation and the festival demands.
We have said that we no longer want to organise a festival, nor can we do so in a sustainable way.

Schedule
We previously told you that “hope still lives in us and we believe that there is a need for community and cultural events like this.”
🌱 Spring is here and it's time to bring you the first chapter of a new project. We've been working all winter to redefine ourselves and our goals, and to find the core values we want to keep alive.
Our focus is on meeting and creating.
We invite you to the WALDORFESTBOR event.
How is it different from a festival❓
A peaceful project that puts creation at the forefront, WaldorfFestCamp. Our aim is to organise community programmes where young and old alike can feel free to find a programme that suits them.
You could say that we invite you around the fire! Let's sit down and create, play and talk. This is how we create a celebration, an ancient form of festival.
🌿What to expect when you come❓
For Peaceful Programmes. A wonderful environment. New and old friends, and of course the inspiring atmosphere of Zebegény and Szőnyi Camp.
🌿 What is Waldorf Camp❓
Waldorf Camp is an event that seeks to create the community experience and feeling of Waldorfesque, but with a different focus and motivation than before.
There will be no big concerts
The community will shape the programme
We aim to give space to young artists
In fact, this is the creative camp of our Rügy Association, with the feeling and values of the original Waldorf Fests at its core. This is the direction we want to build on in the future.
We are trying to create a space for programmes that help us to connect with each other. We will create shared creative processes.
There will be delicious food and drink courtesy of the Rügybár.
In the evening, fire, music and a night tour.
We will have the opportunity to learn about a wide variety of art forms.
Szőnyi Camp - Zebegény
A small village in the Danube bend. Many artists moved here at the beginning of the 20th century, among them István Szőnyi (1894-1960). His former house is now a museum, and the Szőnyi István Szőnyi School of Fine Arts has been open since 1968 in his garden, which has given birth to generations of Hungarian and foreign artists over the decades. Every summer, the Szőnyi Camp opens its doors. For decades, there have been painting, graphic design and sculpture classes, but in recent years we have added many new courses and programmes, including animation design and photography.
