Hot Jazz Band

The Hot Jazz Band, celebrating its thirty-fifth anniversary in 2020, is best known and loved by Hungarian audiences as a contemporary rendition of early jazz and the Hungarian popular music of the interwar period, with the music of the films Karády, Kabos, Jávor and Latabár.

In the second half of the 1990s, they were the only Hungarian jazz ensemble to win four international competitions in France, the most notable of which was the International New Orleans Jazz Competition in St. Raphael, where they took first prize out of 54 bands. American successes have not been lost in the band's life. They have visited the birthplace of jazz six times. In Sacramento, California, the world's largest jazz gathering, they were twice the most popular band at the festival. Last year, they released their 14th album, "A Little Pig", which consists mainly of songs written for children. The Hot Jazz Band has twice won the eMeRTon Award, the Lyric Award, the Louis Armstrong Memorial Award, the Silver Tree of Life Award and the Kossuth Prize in 2015. In the cobuci garden you will hear some of the best-known covers, such as "My baby is a black woman", "I have no deposit in the bank", "Hello Baby" and "I'm there for you".

The Restless

Country and rockabilly, infused with an authentic American sensibility, meet in the original songs of The Restless. In 2022, they took home the top prize, "Entertainers of the Year", at the Texas Sounds Country Music Awards in the US. In 14 years, the group has released 7 albums and one gold record. Their sixth English-language album, Restless, was completed at Rosewood Studios in Texas and features eleven original songs. They perform Johnny Cash songs alongside their own compositions.
