JOÃO PEDRO TEIXEIRA – MIQUÈU MONTANARO (BR/FR) | MONTANARO – HORVÁTH – NÉMETH TRIÓ (FR/HU)

Miquèu Montanaro, composer, flutist and harmonica player, starts his unique journey from Provance to the Mediterranean region to the most distant music of the world, integrating its different elements into his own pieces. He prefers to collaborate with younger generations of musicians to enrich the musical dialogue through the exchange of ideas based on different world and life experiences. His partner in the Amazonas Duo is the Brazilian João Pedro Teixeira, a student of Hermeto Pascoal. Their free-spirited, joyful and virtuosic ensemble arrives in Budapest immediately after a three-week tour of Brazil. In the second half of the evening, the music of the "Open Trio" will be framed by flutes and drums, which the musicians will choose according to the timbres they dream up for the concert, with the violin floating between them, following individual ideas. The ensemble has been part of the Mediawave Open Chamber Orchestra on several occasions, and violinist Dániel Horváth "Dudu" Horváth from Kellene Kis Kert and Az Ösvény, while drummer Kristóf Balázs Németh from Sickpicnic, Aznap and Ösvény may be familiar to audiences.
