The Austrian quartet Alpha Trianguli, inspired by the beauty and the stunning grandeur of the universe, plunges into an infinity of sounds. Sometimes they approach imaginary planets with energy, sometimes they float pensively in a space of their own creation. The Vienna-based orchestra is itself built like a small cosmos: the driving force is the gravitational field of the double bass, around which pulsating drum rhythms orbit. The vibraphone draws a magical star-filled void around them, while the trombone sounds the warm, earthy voice of a strange creature. Their debut album, Entering Zero Gravity, will be released by Unit Records in Switzerland at the end of 2023, and will be presented in Budapest after Austria, Germany and the United States.
