This was followed by recognition from the Who Mit Tube and the Cseh Tamás Programme, a successful tour with Margaret Island, and then they won the audience award at the Veszprém Street Music Festival. In 2017 they won the Fonogram "Discoverer of the Year" award and were the winners of the Big Band Pad competition, making them a highlight at all the festivals. The Horse plays with an honest approach to life and an energetic stage presence that captivates concert-goers. Part Balkan, part alternative, the band brings such an intimate and fun atmosphere to the stage that the listener has no choice but to relax and surrender to the funky sounds interspersed with brass. The lyrics, which express our everyday realities and difficulties in a cheerful guise, are easy to identify with.
