"I am convinced that if we live another hundred years (...) and have our five hundred pounds a year and our own room; if we make a habit of the freedom and courage to write what we think (...), the time will come when the dead poet, Shakespeare's sister, will again assume the body she has so often been forced to shed," writes Virginia Woolf in her essay "My Room". The hundred years have slowly passed, the question is, how much freer and braver have we become? Do women have their own rooms anymore? And is it enough to make women visible and heard?
