TASTE Finland pop-up restaurant 2024đŽ
Pop-up restaurant day TASTE Finland is here again! Come and enjoy food, music and a lovely atmosphere at the courtyard of the Finnish Embassy (Kelenhegyi Ășt 16/a) on Saturday 25th of May from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.!
Organised for the 11th time, the popular food event will be following its tradition of environmentally friendly themes as this year the chefs will prepare delicious vegetarian food!
There will be a main dish as well as a selection of side dishes available for purchase. The food will be prepared by our guest chefs from Finland, the students of Ă landâs Vocational High School. Ă land, or Ă land Islands, is an autonomous region of Finland.
In addition to the dishes prepared by our guest chefs, there will be delicious food and drink available for purchase on site:
- Hungary-based Rejiji Wines will sell wine to accompany the delicious dishes.đ·đ
- Lovely pastries and excellent coffee will be sold by the Nordic style bakery Nor/ma.âïžđ„
- The Finnish school in Budapestâs kiosk will be selling refreshing lemonade and small sweets. đđ

PROGRAMME:
- LAU, an amazing Budapest-based dj will be playing throughout the event!đ¶
- Try out some outdoor activities! Challenge your friends and family in the classic Finnish game âMölkkyâ, or unleash your inner artist and decorate the asphalt with different coloured chalk!đš
- Arkki Hungary will organise a candy architecture workshop in the embassy library for the young!đŹ
- There will also be another workshop held indoors - more info and instructions on how to sign up will be announced soon!
The event is free of charge â food & wine will be sold at affordable prices. Please note that we recommend card payment when purchasing the food prepared by the chefs. For other purchases we recommend also bringing cash.The event is dog-friendly.đ¶
The event is organized by the Finnish Insitute in Hungary, FinnAgora, and the Embassy of Finland in cooperation with Ă lands Yrkesgymnasium. The event is sponsored by accounting company Leinonen.
