Schedule

The m.a.d.a.m. collective (music and dance and more) is an organically functioning cooperative creative community where individuality, the preservation of individuality and the pushing of boundaries are equally important, both artistically, humanly and socially. This is also reflected in the choice of themes, with an emphasis on the social and communal dimension of issues that concern members individually. Its distinctive feature is the fusion of music, dance and prose theatre, made possible by the artistic diversity and progressive vision of its members, culminating in a new synthesis of the arts.

The performers of the m.a.d.a.m. collective are Réka Horváth, Csenge Hrotkó, Enikő Nagy, Eszter Táibl

The artists participating in the exhibition:

RÉKA JABLONKAY

I've been drawing since I was a child and I was already fascinated by the world of illustration. My inspiration is everything that nature has to offer, from huge mountains to tiny leaf veins. Colours, textures. Light and shade and other contrasts. Different emotions, moods. Religions, spirituality, dreams, symbols. I create mostly on paper, my favourite tools are ink, felt, ballpoint pen, gel pen, watercolour, brush felt.

CHENGERI VIKTORINA

I like to use my drawings to depict surreal stories and dreams that I have experienced personally.

I mostly work with needle felt because with this tool I can immerse myself endlessly in creating various organic, natural images - every line bends, curves, turns or spirals. I use a variety of surfaces as a base for these, such as woodcuts and circular canvas.

KELEMEN KINGA

Forest Girl. My mother used to call me that when I sat down to breakfast with my hair uncombed. She pointed out something important.

Lately, I've been searching for this forest inside and out. I'm an ecologist. I could be. I became a draughtsman along the way. Instead.

The blue crawled under my skin, the branches became my veins. And I myself grow skyward, gathering light.

The exhibition is open from 25 May to 4 June, free of charge, during Manyi's opening hours.

We are waiting for you! 🙂

MANYI

Se nem foglaltház, se nem romkocsma, de mindenképpen olyan közösségi tér és kultúrgócpont, ami olyan egykori történelmi helyek hagyományát viszi tovább, mint a Kultiplex vagy a West Balkán.
