In 2004, four men with distinctly different personalities and musical styles came together to write the name Il Divo in the history of music and culture. Their efforts were crowned with success, as they achieved unprecedented recognition for their genre-spanning songs and a following of millions of followers who bought their multi-platinum-selling releases.
They've had the opportunity to perform at the Summer Olympics, co-wrote the official song for the 2006 football World Cup alongside Toni Braxton, and performed at Queen Elizabeth II's Diamond Jubilee celebrations. The songs, performed in Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, English, Japanese and Latin, have sold more than 30 million records worldwide in 35 countries, and have reached 50 chart tops, 160 gold and platinum records.
