RESONARE PERCUSSION DUO

The primary objective of Resonare Percussion Duo is to promote percussion-inspired music and to explore with its audience how emotional depths can be expressed on these instruments. Their performances combine well-known musical styles such as flamenco, tango, folk music and jazz, but also include melodies from the Baroque period. The combination of dynamic drumming, characterful southern dances and sensual melodies makes for a unique experience. The members of the Resonare Percussion Duo met at the beginning of their musical career in 2013 and have been actively performing in Switzerland and Hungary since 2018. They made their debut at a New Year's Eve concert in Debrecen. The duo won 1st prize in the chamber music category at the 2021 Moscow International Music Competition.

Their aim is to spread authentic and widely accepted music of unique quality written for percussion instruments. Their ever-expanding repertoire includes classical music as well as contemporary works. Their concerts usually include transcriptions by Roland Nagy, which present an innovative way to showcase the diversity of percussion instruments.
