CONCERT // HUNGARIAN, GREEK, BULGARIAN SONGS

"We cordially invite you to the concert of the Viki-Hodzsa duo on 6 June. This will be our biggest concert ever. We are grateful to Open Workshop for the opportunity! - Those of you who know us better know that our repertoire is divided between traditional Balkan and Hungarian song treasures. This is no coincidence, as we have played together for several years in the band "Laughs", which plays South Slavic, Greek and some Armenian music. We have both had an affinity for Balkan/Mediterranean music for decades. The first part of our show will feature Bulgarian, Macedonian, Serbian and especially Greek songs. Our guests will be our old colleague Klári Csabai, who will sing in some of the songs, and Edit Vengrinyák, who will sing and play the cimbalom-like instrument called "kánun". And after the break, we will play Hungarian songs/songs with Viki, just in duet."
