Fusion Belly Dance is a dance genre still relatively unknown in Hungary, which originated in the 1990s in America and has since gained worldwide recognition and admiration. While its foundation lies in the movement vocabulary of classical belly dance, it draws heavily from other dance styles such as hip-hop, flamenco, and odissi. It blends folk with modern, making it simultaneously contemporary and primal.
