SBP4, which, along with several other Russian bands, left Russia almost a year ago, will present its new album on 19 March. In addition to the songs from There is nothing left, the band's previous hits will also be performed at the A38 Ship.

The band SBP4 (Samoe Bolshoe Prostoe Chislo, "The Biggest Prism") is one of the best known Russian indie bands, founded in 2006 by Kirill Ivanov and the electronic duo EU. The band's original name was actually the then known "Biggest Prime Number", but they later changed it to the current one so that they wouldn't have to change the name every time they found an even bigger prime number.
SBP4 makes upbeat electronic music with psychedelic overtones, boldly combining African rhythms, hip-hop breaks, funky guitar runs and disco elements.
The band was originally based in St Petersburg, from where they moved shortly after the war began. They were among the first to speak out against aggression in Ukraine, issuing a statement on their social media channels the day after the invasion condemning Russian aggression and stressing that the war must be called by its name and stopped as soon as possible.
SBP4 will bring their new album There is nothing left (Nichego Bloshe Net - Nothing left behind) to the spring tour, and will also perform a number of songs from their previous albums. In the band's own words, this music says no to war and comes from people in pain to people in pain. Critics listening to the album, released in 2022, say it is the band's best album to date, and the best album on the Russian scene last year, and the best musical reflection of everything that is happening around us. And the greatest merit of the songs is that they help us to get through the pain and loss that many of us are going through.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
