Monchichi Potenciál, Erik Sumo DJ Szett
In 2003, Monchichi Potenciál, the first and only "trip-pop band" in the Eastern region, was founded and operated for five years in Debrecen, on the occasion of an Amorphous Devils remix competition.The band featured musicians who later went on to have national careers, such as Gábor Subicz (Subtones, Modern Art Orchestra, etc.), Ádám Mészáros (Erik Sumo, JÜ, Tariqa, etc.) and Viktor Laskai (DJ SuperStereo).

Monchichi Potential
The playful sound of the "monchichi" is defined by the polyphonic female vocals, the specific harmony of trumpet and flute, the characteristic guitar playing and the grooves that wink at electronic music. The band has regularly filled the clubs of their hometown, but they have also played several times at the Sziget Festival, and have played at emblematic Budapest venues such as the Petőfi Hall, the A38 Ship, the legendary Almássy Square Leisure Centre or the Green Pardon, and were once even known as one of András Lovasi's favourite bands.
The band disbanded in 2008, after which the members scattered all over the world, and in 2023 they reunited for a 20-minute concert at the Made In Debrecen Festival. The success of the short gig motivated the creation of a three-stop mini-tour in 2024, with a stop in Budapest on the rooftop terrace of the A38.

Erik Sumo DJ set
Erik Sumo, aka Ambrus Tövisházi, also known from Péterfy Bori & Love Band and his film scores, was present at several important moments in the career of Monchichi Potencial: he contributed to the formation of the band with his remix contest for Amorphous Devils, they played several concerts together, and both the Monchichi's big album (Szieszta Intenzív) and EP (Só Bors Vágy) were produced under Ambrus' musical production hand. Thanks to his eclectic DJ set, we can expect a blood-pumping and exotic atmosphere before and after the concert.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
