Pause, Plié
PAUSE
Like angels in black: the band PAUSE is just as innocent. From the brash female energy, to the ethereal synths, to the robust guitar solos, you can feel the exuberance and all the sins of youth in every flicker. Lust for life, but suicidal tendencies; true love, but a one-night stand; sobriety, but a permanent hangover. The eternal ambivalence of life!

PLIÉ
PLIÉ is a band of six musicians from completely different backgrounds
from black metal to contemporary/avant-garde music. Dubbed the "charlatans of experimental music" in Lithuania, they have managed to stir up the local alternative scene with their bold debut album Never Took Place
(2021). The record has sparked curiosity about an unconventional, fractured process of music making and the philosophical implications behind PLIÉ's existence. It is nothing less than ballet with broken legs.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
