Mark Oliver Everett is the kind of guy you'd let entertain you with his stories in an American donut shop while having your afternoon coffee. His music, which is mostly based on sometimes hilarious, sometimes thrillingly personal and tragic real-life stories, exudes the similar sense of comfort and natural swagger that it's a pleasure to listen to.
E, as his alter ego is called, is the son of world-famous quantum physics legend Hugh Everett: as one can see, he hasn’t ended up in the world of science, but rather in the world of music, with a truly massive 14-album discography. Mark has never really stopped since 1992, and his latest tour is just around the corner. In Hungary, Müpa will let him through the doors of Akvárium Klub as part of the Bartók Spring.
