d'FLEMM: The swing rock band formed from a street smuggling band has only been around for half a year, but they have already released 4 singles and played a sold-out debut show. Combining the chords of 30's gypsy jazz with rock, punk and reggae, the Hungarian lyrics of the band may be familiar from Petőfi Radio. In the summer they will appear as guests of Kowalsky meg a Vega at venues in the countryside, while they are preparing for the Big Boat Robbery with all their might.
Woodstock Barbie. They are also increasingly plying international waters, with club tours and festival appearances abroad, and professional accolades. Fuzz pedals, soft melodies and sweet guys behind the Devil.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
