PEER PRESSURE

2016, the year they met. 5 members, 5 pasts, one future. Peer Pressure's inspirations range from Arctic Monkeys and the Strokes to Red Hot Chili Peppers and Nirvana. They have songs that are crushing and fit into the indie scene of the 2000s, as well as slower, melancholy songs. The band played their first show at Hunnia in summer 2018 and within two years they recorded their singles Mess and Bees. In recent years, the band has been touring Budapest's underground clubs as well as cities in the countryside. The band's ever-changing uniqueness is the result of their constantly expanding sound and their penchant for new approaches.

Now is the moment to present their first full-length album. Peer Pressure are back on stage on 22 April at the A38!

P.D.O.A.

For the voyeur in all of us, PDOA (Public Display of Affection) has arrived.

Madeleine Rose, Lewis Lloyd, Anton Remy and Jesper Munk released their first EP "P.D.O.A." In October 2022, the band released their first full-length album, "I Still Care".

To take part in the quirkiness of the German capital, PDOA's live shows hark back to the intrepid eccentricity of Berlin's 1980s performance artists and musical collectives.

Post-Punk Magazine described them as a hybrid of jazz and post-punk.

An act close to music that taps into the golden ratio between soul revealing and sinful.

Location

A38 Ship

Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
