LOU ASRIL

With a mix of soul, RnB, hip-hop, dance/EDM-pop and house elements, the "RetroMix21" EP (release date: 24 March 2022) makes it clear that the artist has evolved and undergone a transformation since its release - both musically and personally.

The herald of the first single, "FEELINGS" is able to showcase Lou Asril and the unfathomable charisma surrounding his work like no other song. Gradually it evolves into an acoustic torrent that makes its way through, blurring and merging with everything it encounters.

TOBY WHYLE

Songwriting has always come naturally and has always been present in Toby Whyle's life. And he's written a lot of them over the last decade. What's new, however, is the realisation that songwriting is one of the few tools he has to slow down the bright and bustling world around us. Driven by the urge to create and develop something new, he started writing again. And suddenly this feeling of being able to stop time became more intense and immediate than ever.

In this way, the singer, songwriter and guitarist is able to step out of the constant rush and move freely at his own pace. "Every song is an empty room and I can decide how I want to decorate it. It can be quite chaotic with stuff piled up to the ceiling, and then again there's almost nothing in it," he describes his approach to songwriting. For him, creating melodies, music and lyrics is not just a way of reflecting on situations, but also a way of dealing with them. Toby's music strives to influence and inspire people at all stages of life, as his songs are the result of the varied situations he has experienced.

Aesthetics and elaboration play a crucial role in Toby Whyle's creative process, from songwriting, recording and production to developing and maintaining a particular visual language. His aim is to create quality and exceptional music that inspires and delights people, that radiates energy and conveys a certain feeling.

AGAVOID

The Budapest-based band AGAVOID was formed in 2015, experimenting with elements of electronica pop, trip-hop, experimental and dream pop. The band operates as a trio with singer (Tamara Dalma Puskás), bass guitar producer (Kristóf Huszár) and keyboard player (Bálint Kriska).

In October 2015 the debut EP Tamper / Ignore was released, in December the single After and its music video.

In 2016, they released their first album CĀSUS, and in the following years they have been active participants in concerts in Budapest and at several festivals. In 2017, they released another single, Moldavite, and the music video was premiered internationally on NOWNESS.

In 2018, they were featured on Anima Sound System's jubilee remix album, for which they made a full remix of the song Open Your Eyes.

Their song Fragment was released in early 2020 and was included on the Telekom Electronic Beats compilation album. The band's second full-length album STRATUM was released in November 2020, followed by two music videos for their tracks 'Aviate' and 'Pearl'. Their first Hungarian-language song 'Durchfedés' was featured on the PLUTO Sound compilation album.

In 2021, they won the special prize of the Klipszemle Sound Occupant with their song 'Aviate'.
