Sonic Rain, a London-born but Budapest-raised artist, brings a diverse electronic style from his diverse background. From a young age, he trained as a contemporary drummer and classical pianist before diving into the world of electronic music, creating his own unique sound.

Groovy techno and breakbeat elements can be heard in his productions, with a unique packaging - his own style. Prior to moving to Bristol in 2018, Sonic Rain made an impression on the Budapest Drum & Bass scene, DJing regularly in clubs and at illegal raves. The power of his live performances has also been featured on radio stations and he has been in contact with various promotional agencies, which have landed him DJ sets on the A38 boat and at the Akvárium club. He is currently back in Budapest and preparing to make an impact in more parts of Europe, which included this summer's Sziget Festival and Balaton Sound, as well as prestigious venues such as the A38 ship and Akvárium club. With international support for heavyweight DJs, his journey promises to be a promising one in 2024.
Shipyard Island (Óbuda Island)
Óbudai Island, also known as Hajógyári Island, is an island in the Danube in the administrative district of Budapest III. Óbudaisziget is also a part of the city of Budapest. It is a popular place for excursions, but it is not because of this that it has become better known, but because of the Sziget Festival, which has been held here every year since 1993.
