Mindenki legyen kufli!
András Dániel's Kufli stories are familiar to every Hungarian child today. The characters of the highly successful book and cartoon series, the seven goblins living in a heap in a deserted meadow and constantly getting into strange adventures, come to life on the Budapest Puppet Theatre's Main Stage.

While we learn where Zödön's patch has disappeared, the name of Hilda's flower, what Fityirc dresses up as at the magic mushroom carnival party, and why sometimes it's better to go for a walk than a hike, the stories, written with unbridled imagination, secretly speak of important things like friendship, community and self-identity. The puppet theatre adaptation is of course not complete without the funny side characters that wander through the pages of the books (there's sure to be a commenting cloud, a talking log, the underground elf and many more). The musical performance will be accompanied live by the Magic Mushroom Orchestra.

Budapest Puppet Theatre dates back more than 70 years, and generations have grown up with its performances. We have had great eras, emblematic performances, and have been able to respond to the changes and cultural influences that have surrounded us. We are the only established theatre in Budapest that specialized in the genre of puppetry.
