Galaxisok Államalapítási Ünnepség w. Káltes Ekwa
Shearing their chariots along the dazzling Milky Way's bright path, the seven sparkling steeds pulling their chariots in a mane of mane blazing with Sirius light, the Galaxisok bring the secret message of the Dyson Spheres, hidden forever from our eyes by light-years of eternity, finally revealing the ancient truth, and by a chorus of flame-embraced kharubdis...and so on. White dwarves and red giants, the band plays their new album, but also takes out and dusts off their analogue synthesizers again, and their partner in this great undertaking is none other than one of my absolute favourite Hungarian bands, Káltes Ekwa.

Galaxies
Galaxisok, led by Benedek Szabó, is one of the Hungarian bands with one of the most circuitous careers. Polbeats solo albums turned into jangly indie, then experimental piano ballads, followed by a world tour double album (Stories from the Lives of Others) with South American and African influences, then a synth post-punk album (Don't Love Us!) reminiscent of the cassette underground of the 1980s. With all the variables, one thing has remained intact: the unforgettable mood of the instantly recognisable lyrics. Galaxisok 2024 released a new album on 22 March, their eighth album entitled In the Headwinds.
The benches where the first kisses were tasted are replaced by a hotel or an apartment block, the wind blows us from West to East, and we dream of beauty but keep running into concrete walls.
In the Headwinds is a real protest record, the most public-spirited and political publication in the history of Galaxies, often angry and passionate, sometimes desperate. Instead of dreams and nostalgia, it is now about the present through the eyes of a generation that often watches helplessly as their common ship is steered in a direction they find unacceptable by characters they find unacceptable.

Ekwa Kaltes
A syncretic synthpop trio from Budapest, formed in the last days of Faustian culture to celebrate the great mystery of the Unknown God as reality and irrationality collapse into one another in a world created in holy ecstasy. Pogo drum machines, Catholic synths, gnostic pessimism, cosmic angst and insanely memorable choruses!
