Kenyér ünnepe after party - kisbetűs ünnepnapok & 4Bards
"Until the 18th century, Catholics consecrated the new bread on 15 July and tied it with a national ribbon on 20 August. By the 1920s, 20 August had also been made the feast of Hungarian bread. In 2024, on the day after the feast, the A38 Ship's small-letter holiday celebrations and the 4Bards bands created the tradition of the after party, with just one unrepeatable and irrepeatable glorious light music concert" - quote from our chronicle book.
Schedule
Tickets will be available from Friday 14 June. Early bird tickets are only available for the first 24 hours, so be on the lookout!
The concert is supported by the MOL-New Europe Foundation in the framework of the Felunolva! programme.
A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
