"A galaxy of handsome bands" Fest: underground bands break the surface of the Danube to play underground bands while the audience rejoices, sways, dances, pogos, says goodbye to summer and sinks ships. A formal, red-letter celebration of 'youth, folly', a beautiful, sensual ritual of raving and destruction. 1 evening, 5 bands. There's hip hop, there's punk, there's alt, a bit of indie, a bit of surf rock, sky-scraping melodies and grooves and riffs predicted by the Celts 2,000 years ago, everything that meets the eye. All the while, handsome guys and lovely girls scream in your face for an evening that this is what life can be like: good and beautiful.

A38 Ship
Converted from a coal-mining ship, the A38 is easily Budapest's most unique concert venue. The belly of the ship has been home to a wide range of live and electronic music for almost 20 years, and when it's full you can feel the rhythmic movement of the partygoers making waves in the Danube. Foreign acts often refer to it afterwards as their favourite club.
