Drawing from the work of Visible Cloaks, Radiohead, Erik Satie and Jon Hassell, the trio unleash their versatility in multi-layered, visionary improvisations.
The majority of the melodies, which entice you to sing along, are written by pianist Fulco Ottervanger with an almost childlike simplicity. Lieven Van Pée and Simon Segers complement these melodies with never-before-heard combinations of sounds in a collaborative play of control and release, often to kaleidoscopic, widescreen effect.
Their seventh album, What Eludes Us, is about everything that escapes our attention or that we deliberately choose not to pay attention to. The result is - once again - captivating music with deceptive rhythms, crystal clear melodies and uninhibited electronics that can surprise even its creators.
